We are Micah & Amanda Bachman, the passionate coffee enthusiasts and owners of Origin Essence Roasting Co. We are a young couple on a mission to bring you the finest coffee experience imaginable. With our shared love for fine specialty coffee, we have dedicated ourselves to sourcing the highest quality beans from around the world and spending our time roasting them to perfection.
I (Micah) started Origin Essence Roasting Co. in 2019 as a hobby, hoping to some day get away from working a normal job and start living the entrepreneur lifestyle in the coffee roasting industry. With a love for coffee, and a passion to create something special, I began sampling specialty coffees from around the world, refining each roast to bring out each note and nuance. As I continued to grow, I fell in love with the process and science behind coffee.We are so thankful for where God has led us in the past years.
We are also thankful for the support from you, our families, friends, & community. We would not be where we are today if it hadn't been for all the love shown through the years. We can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store!

We are from central Illinois, living in a small town around amazing family & friends. We recently got married on April 5, 2024, and have been living our dream lives as business owners ever since. We work side by side every day, creating your morning specialty coffee and memories. We share a love for adventure, good food, great coffee, and creating lasting memories together.
